Grand Hotel Karel V Utrecht

Location
The hotel is located close to Utrecht city centre, approximately 10 minutes walk from the central station and less than 5 minutes to the shops and restaurants and other attractions that this delightful city has to offer.

Rooms
All the rooms differ in decor but all are large and have wooden floors throughout and darkwood furniture. The bathrooms are medium to large and some have a seperate shower.

Restaurant
The hotel has a Michelin restaurant - the Grand Karel Restaurant, as well as a less formal brasserie. The restaurant is fairly traditional in decor and as can be expected, the food and service exceptional, making this hotel increasingly popular with locals and all residents of the Netherlands. The brasserie is less formal although still traditional looking with a redbrick floor and darkwook furniture. One of the brasserie rooms has an open plan kitchen.

General
A fantastic product that combines the tradition and the modern to good effect. More suited to the individual traveler and ideal for exploring Utrecht or other areas in Holland given it's proximatey to the train station and main roads.

Malie Hotel - A Hampshire Classic Utrecht

Location
This hotel is located in a lovely tree lined residential street, close to the city centre of Utrecht.

Rooms
The rooms are small to medium in size and have a fairly traditional look with blue carpets and dark wood furniture. The bathrooms are small but like the rooms are in a good condition, however some are with shower only.

Restaurant
The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, just a small breakfast room which is located on the ground floor overlooking a lovely garden where breakfast may be served, weather permitting.

General
This is a very lovely family run hotel, suitable for individuals or small groups.

Mercure Hotel Utrecht Nieuwegein

Location
This hotel is located in a small business centre outside the city of Utrecht and is close to the main motorway which connects Utrecht with all major cities in Holland.

Rooms
The rooms are fairly standardised and are medium sized.They have been decorated in a modern style using attractive shades and are comfortably furnished.

Restaurant
The restaurant is large and located on the ground floor.It has only recently been redecorated and is quite modern in style with black as a backing colour and multi colour spots throughout.The menu is international and offers first class food and service.

General
This is an excellent product and although located outside the city centre, has very good links to the centre and is close to the highway making it easily accessible to Amsterdam.

NH Hotel Utrecht

Location
This hotel is located close to the main congress centre of Utrecht, and only a short walk from the railway station and the old town of Utrecht.

Rooms
The bedrooms are all medium in size and have all been redecorated so are therefore in very good condition and are also far more luxurious than before. All are air-conditioned and are decorated either in blues or reds.

Restaurant
The main breakfast room is located on one of the top floors of the hotel and offers stunning views of Utrecht. There is a slightly oriental feel to this room and on the floor above is located the renowned bar of the hotel.

General
This property is of a superior standard and offers an excellent service.
